Accessing the website / server log files

When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server, which is temporarily stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the previously visited page (referrer), as well as browser type and operating system.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website. Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate abuse or malfunctions.

Hosting

This website is operated by a hosting provider that processes the above access data solely on our behalf and on our instructions, on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses no cookies — not for tracking, analytics or marketing. For operation we use strictly necessary means only:

• Language: your language (German/English) follows from the address you visit (e.g. “/de” for German); no cookie is set for this.
• Theme (light/dark): your theme choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to the server.
• Interactive demo: when you start a session under “/try”, we store an anonymous session identifier locally in your browser (localStorage) so the session survives a page reload. It contains no personal data and is removed once the session ends or is discarded.

This storage is strictly necessary for the functions you request (§ 25 (2) TDDDG); no consent is required. You can delete the stored values at any time via your browser settings.

Interactive demo and trace viewer

When you use the interactive demo (“/try”) or the trace viewer, the configurations you enter and the tool calls they produce are sent to our backend servers, processed there, and stored for the duration of the session in order to display the trace to you. Use is anonymous and requires no account.

Only synthetic mock data is processed — please do not enter any real personal data, credentials or API keys here. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (providing the function you requested). Session data is deleted automatically once the session ends.

No sharing with third parties, no tracking

We use no analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics), no advertising networks and no social media plugins. Fonts are served locally from our own server (self-hosted); there is no connection to font providers such as Google Fonts. Your data is not shared with third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Your rights

Within the limits of the law you have the right at any time to:

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Independent State Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

During your visit we use the widely adopted TLS (Transport Layer Security) procedure together with HTTPS encryption. We also take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss or unauthorised access.
